Bring unexpected inspiration.....
Like a trio of Vintage Crocheted Hangers! I absolutely fell in love with these! They are in great vintage shape, and I just love looking at them. They encompass my favorite colors...blue, off white, brown. I think I will have to use these in some of my photographs for displaying some of my Etsy items!

Here is a small sneak peak of some items that will soon be for sale in our Etsy Shoppe! My wonderful and creative sister-in-law has been so kind to open a shop together. We are planning to kick off a successful New Year by sharing some of our most inspiring creations and vintage finds yet!! Our main focus will be the upcoming Valentine Holiday. Frost has found its way here....
I was able to capture a few amazing shots of some beautiful frost formations on some of our old storm windows. I think I will be staying inside again today!

I am almost done with my Christmas Holiday Decorating and wanted to share a sneak peak of my mantel. I just finished crafting my burlap WINTER Banner this morning and thought this was the perfect place to hang it! I will be sharing more Holiday Decorating photos soon, along with Part III of Architectural Details! Stay tuned and stay warm!

Life would be void without them.....
Sometimes we miss the beauty in front of our eyes.....
Our last move required a home filled with detail and character. We certainly found our gem! Our home was built in the 1880's and the details could never be matched in today's construction. After living here a little more than a year, I find myself overlooking the details. I need to remember to take the time to sit down and admire what is surrounding me. I will be continuing this post the next few days as I capture more photographs of these amazing little gifts I must not forget to enjoy!
Here is my first attempt at making a Vintage Paper Wreath! This is not an original idea, but I HAD to make one for myself when I saw this on Etsy! It was quite a bit of work, so this could very well be my first and my last, although I was thinking of making a smaller one in the near future! I plan to hang this in my Living Room, and as the seasons change, I will change the word in the middle. That way I can use this sweet beauty all year long! Enjoy!
Yummies in the Linen Closet.....
Funny what you can find if you just really LOOK at what you have in the linen closet!
As I was rummaging through some my hidden treasures, I stumbled upon a vintage off white linen curtain. It had amazing soft, detailed trim and the binding along the edge made a wonderful strip of linen ribbon. I cut off the fringe and tore the rest of the curtain into strips. Next I tea dyed them. I did some with brown tea, some with pink tea, and left the rest the wonderful original off white color. These trimmings will be finding their way into my Late Winter/Valentine Holiday Collection on Etsy at the end of December!
Upon waking early this morning, a small gift was outside our 19th century home's window....
four beautiful cardinals and some sweet little chickadees fluttering around in one of my favorite dainty trees. It was if they were having their very own Thanksgiving celebration!
May we be reminded today of how many little things we have to be thankful for!
