Happy Valentine's Day to you all!
I am glad to have this Holiday arrive because that means our bundle of joy is about to be born in the next 2 weeks! I am however feeling a bit of -well-A LOT of-CABIN FEVER!!! I am ready for the snow to be gone and for the flowers to bloom. I want to be able to go outside without being cold and to not have to waddle across slippery sidewalks so I don't fall and hurt our little one. I am longing to take walks in the park and to enjoy the fresh air. I think I might go insane these next 2 weeks because I AM BORED!!!! I feel like I have nothing to do--or is it that I feel too tired and pregnant to do anything even if I wanted to! I know I should enjoy these easy days before our life changes dramatically, but I keep saying to myself....is it time yet?? I really need something to keep my mind busy these next few days. Any suggestions???
It is so nice to know there are some very SWEET Shoppe Owners on Etsy!
I was so honored that Michelle, owner of Blingnets, wanted to feature some of our handmade items for display in her Etsy store! Michelle uses other shoppe owners' goodies to help display her beautiful magnets, and in return she advertises the links to their Etsy Stores! This is such a neat way to help other shoppe owners draw more customers! Here is a little bit about Michelle:
"My shoppe got started because I love vintage earrings, but can't wear them...and I wanted to incorporate them into my everyday life...so I came up with Blingnets! When I saw how beautiful they made my fridge look, I thought that other people would like them too! My mission then became to transform plain jane refrigerators everywhere into things of beauty!"
Below is a taste of what Michelle makes. She takes beautiful photographs! These 2 pics feature our Valentine Tag and Hand Stamped "Once Upon a Time" Ribbon! Be sure to visit Blingnets to see her entire beautiful magnet collection!!
Thanks again Michelle!
It was time to add a personal touch to my dressing table.
I dug around in my jewelry drawer and found some inspiring items including some meaningful inherited pieces and a gorgeous vintage rhinestone necklace and vintage candy mold my beloved husband picked out for me for Christmas! I added a few items in the mix that sparked some inspiration including a page from an Anthropologie Catalog! Now I feel like I have my own little personal spot that makes me feel happy and inspired to accessorize!
My favorite thing to do....
Antiquing....
I love treasure hunting....
A trip to our old stomping grounds in Medina is always one of my favorite things to do! This is the hot spot for finding amazing treasures! There are lots of things to be found at the many shoppes there! Here is one of my favorite finds! This pretty picture frame! I added the bird paper to this lonely empty frame, and Whalla! You can find this gem for sale in the Etsy Shoppe, along with a few other items I found! I also stocked up on some pretty finds for our next launch which will include items for the Easter Holiday Season! We will release our next line right after Valentine's Day! In the meantime, we are still listing new items to our current line, so check out our Shoppe often!
I hope you are enjoying a great start to the New Year! We rung in the new year with a Baby Shower that was just beautiful! We feel very blessed with all of the gifts we received! It is hard to believe our baby girl will be here next month!! Until then, we are trying to keep warm and are enjoying all this snow! I think our dog Clifford just might enjoy the snow most of all!
The big day has arrived....
A new look and a new line....
I am so thrilled! My lovely sister-in-law and I have launched our latest line of Etsy products in our Shoppe! Please be sure to take a moment to visit us! You will find the link to our store if you scroll down my blog on the left hand side. Here are just a few items currently for sale at A Spoonful of Charm....
and this is just the beginning!
Since we've no place to go....
Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow....
I think the serene dusting of snow early this morning has put me in the mood for Christmas! I really can't grasp that this is the last weekend before the big day! I thought it would be fitting to share a small snippet of my Holiday Decorating Vignettes from this year!
